For a Travelodge, I thought the room was really nice compared to others I've stayed at. The staff were attentive and the breakfast wasn't bad either. The location's perfect for bars restaurants.
Just popped into Inverness as we made our way to Edinburgh, and we stayed a night at the downtown Travelodge. Decent hotel, though parking wasn't close, a bit nicer rooms compared to some of the other Travelodge's that we stayed in during our UK trip. Our room overlooked the downtown, and my photos attempt to show you what that looked like. The mall we walked up to and through was almost closed up as we walked through, evidently the locals close up early. There are some decent restaurants surrounding the hotel, and it you're coming in by bus, the hotel location is ideal, since the main bus station sits directly behind the block that houses the hotel. I do have to say the city seems a bit gloomy, and not just because of the weather. The buildings themselves, while often interesting architecturally, were in many instances dreary looking on the outside, and it felt like the whole town needed a good wash. Wheelchair accessibility is good, with roomy bathrooms, and enough room to get around.
From arrival to departure. Staff fully engaged. Polite and well presented. I didn’t hold out much hope for this experience as my Fort William experience is consistently over priced and awful. However…… the Travelodge Inverness experience was wonderful. Welcoming. Clean. Well stocked rooms. Comfortable beds. Clean sheets and comfy pillows. A TV you didn’t need to return and the big bonus of USB sockets everywhere. They really are geared up for the traveler. The cafe bar was well presented being clean and well stocked. I had an evening meal which is standard pub grub type stuff. But the way it was served was almost like being in a fine dining restaurant. Top marks. Breakfast? If you go hungry then you’re not doing right. Again. No mess and plenty to choose from. Would I go back? Yes. Definitely. It’s soooo handy for bus, train and city centre activity’s.
I have stayed here for 4 days and it was really good time i had especially I had little bit of food guide in hotel I don't know the gentleman name he is assistant manager and they had best food especially from one person i think her name is emma she was really helpful and funny and had get convo with her and marina is absolutely welcoming i recommend if you visit look for this two they both work in kitchen You check pics about how much I liked it. Not a big fan of green beans.
Recently stayed here, couldn’t fault the room or location along with staff being very friendly. Especially Anna. The bed was comfy! Heating in room was the only issue but as soon as I told reception they came to sort within mins. Very central for everything I needed (shops, pubs, restaurants and close to the bus station along with other transport links) Check in was easy Good check out time compared to other hotels Breakfast - range of options! Would stay here again
Had a lovely stay here! Visited in November and it was quiet, pleasant, perfect location in the centre of Inverness. Staff are great and everything was clean as expected from travelodge. No parking for the hotel specifically BUT there is a long stay car park behind the hotel that is priced okay (as of November 2025 we paid £9 for 24 hours).
First time staying in a Travel Lodge as normally stay in Premier Inn. Location was grwat just 5 min walk to town centre and plenty eating places near by. I was really surprised tbh as I had read mixed reviews. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean. It was lovely and warm in room and option to open window and full control over heating which was easy to use. Bed very comfortable and great linen and pillows had a great night's sleep. Breakfast had excellent choices and easy to access staff again very helpful nothing to much trouble. Overall excellent stay and will be back. Thanks everyone.
Had a lovely stay at Travelodge. Friendly staff great value for money for breakfast. Small bit of road noise as Ur next to academy street but didn't mind it. Great nights sleep. Will definitely be back again.
